The Palm Desert Learning Tree Center is designed to resemble the bright, cheerful schoolhouses of yesteryear. Creative planning has resulted in carefully designated areas reserved for specific activities. You will find child-sized chairs, tables and bathrooms. A variation of media effectively captures the child's interest for a pleasant learning environment. Each Center features a vast landscaped playground, fully enclosed with a complete range of safe and approved play things to ensure your child's safety.

The Palm Desert Learning Tree Center is a special place for the preschool and early elementary school-aged child, an environment where each youngster is given a chance to star and succeed in individual areas. The program offers each child a creative and individualized opportunity to learn. Our staff will work with your child in developing motor skills, socialization and learning skills, academic fundamentals and personal growth in securing an enthusiasm for learning.
Additionally, our full day elementary program emphasizes fundamental skills in reading, writing, mathematics, motor abilities, and speech. Curriculum includes Art, Music, Natural and Physical Sciences, Social Studies, Computer Technology, Cooking and Physical Education. Most importantly, we strive to develop individual personalities and positive social behavior.
The Palm Desert Learning Tree Center was incorporated and opened its door in October of 1980. Identical twins, Druscilla Craven and Angela Morway have educational and professional backgrounds unique in the desert communities. Both are graduates of San Jose State University with teaching credentials in Early Childhood Education. In addition, they have extensive backgrounds in preschool programming, teaching, administration, and developing and organizing classes for young children.
