Kindergarten is the beginning of the road for every child and their academic career. This precursor to the rest of education for any child sets the tone for their academic thirst. It is important that every young student feel encouraged and curious from the very moment they step through a classroom's door. The Palm Desert Learning Tree Center is a unique educational center that serves ages 2 to 11 years old.

Instead of going through the motions and just merely trying to pass kids onto the next grade level the Learning Tree Center makes sure the each and every child has a full, working knowledge of their academic requirements for each grade. This fact alone ensures that each student is getting the most out of each grade and its subject matter, helping them reach their fullest potential. If kids have confidence in their academic ability from a very young age, they won't shy away from taking on challenges that help themselves grow in the future. Kindergarten is the foundation to a lifetime of learning and it is important that kids get a positive first taste of it.

The Palm Desert Learning Tree Center offers a dynamic approach to learning. Not only do they excel scholastically, they offer after school programs and sports and ensure that students are fully prepared for the educational testing they will face in their coming years. Students have a chance to experience cooking and computer classes, guitar and piano lessons, karate and dance and tutoring. These extra-curricular activities foster a sense of importance in a child's academic environment and also help boost their confidence. These two feelings are integral in ensuring that a student is able to reach their fullest potential throughout the next 12 years and on of education!

The Learning Tree Center also expects parents of Kindergarten students to also be very involved in their child's academic success. By having an open forum in the classroom and after school it allows children to express themselves and start to understand the great responsibility of education on their own terms. Creating the spirit to learn is important and starting children out young is imperative. Kindergarten is the beginning of how a child will view education and what it can do for them and the Learning Tree Center wants to start every child off in the right direction and on the right note.
